Okay....so I think I have a new favorite artist add to my list!! LOL

For those of you that "know me well" you all know I go thru these phases every 6 months or so.....

So....the pick of the month is ESPERANZA SPALDING!!!

After Michael Jaskson died, I youtube many of his old videos and performances as a way of internal therapy ;-)  I was a die hard fan of MJ from the time I was like 7 years old....screaming on the top of my lungs at his concert at Reunion Arena in Dallas Texas...I believe he had just release the "Bad" albulm at that time or so....

Anyway - so you know when you search MJ...his sweet, sassy younger sis appears as well :-)  JANET (Ms Jackson if your NASTY) Jackson!!  Man!  My mom bought me the "janet." album for me in middle school....it had me messed up at hello...LOL  too sexual for someone of my age (wink).....so Im a little addicted at this point (I admit..LOL)...but Janet is a legend and has paved the way for so many in this generation.....

She is concetrating more on movies now....but I think she has one more good (beast) album that needs to unveil before we can close the final call of "velvet rope" called music.

Day 2 of the fast and Day 1 of UV Rehearsals for our Debut concert!! man...what a day.

Three words come to mind today....Tired, Nervous and Anticipation.

Physically and emotionally drained - Nervous about the outcome but yet in anticipation of the great and un-expected.

I Love My Brothers and Sisters!!

Just had a good conversation with my brother Ryan tonight...he is the next fastest growing Christian artist on the rise...don't sleep on him, just give him time (wink) lol

He is currently working on his debut CD as a solo artist.  He has worked with well known artist such as Myron Butler and Levi, George Huff, Tommye Young-West and many more!!

His CD Release Concert is scheduled for January 2011....Ill keep you all updated on location and times!!

Day One of 21 Days!!

Day One of our 21 day fast!!!!  God help me....absolute from 5am - 5pm but free will after 5pm.  I have a lot up before "HIM" and needing a break-through drastically in every area at this point.

God revealed to me "Discipline" ....discipline spiritually, mentally and physically.  I complain about the void but yet want to fulfill it with substance and influence that has not been proven to not be reliable, pure and eternal.

I learned from my spiritual covering "Elton Monday" that there are Four components to a Spiritual Foundation:  Prayer, Fasting, Reading the Word and Obedience. (Notes from the sermon coming soon)  Being equipped to protect, and fight is key to the success of my daily walk in Christianity.
